Census Bureau Needs Workers
KALAMAZOO -- You would not think that with unemployment in the double digits, the Census bureau would have trouble finding help, but they are. They are looking for qualified candidates to become enumerators during the spring federal count. They need the head counters to go door to door and hunt down people who failed to fill out their census forms for one reason or another.
Local office Manager David Weimerslage says it pays over $13 an hour while it lasts. They are looking for enumerators to work in Allegan, Van Buren, Berrien Cass and Kalamazoo Counties. You need to be at least 18-years-old, pass a basic skills test and an ID Screen. You can get more info at www.2010censusjobs.com or call 866-861-2010
