Kids Need Second Dose of Vaccine
LANSING -- More than 175-thousand parents will get letters next week from the Michigan Department of Community Health reminding them to get their kids vaccinated against the H1N1 virus again. Kids younger than ten-years-old are supposed to get two doses of the vaccine in order to be protected against the illness. Reportedly though, only about 65-percent of the 308-thousand Michigan children who got the first dose, came back for the second.
